Our Campus Map shows the main places of ministry.

On Sundays

9:15 AM Bible Study

  • Meet with us for coffee at 9 AM near the aquarium.
  • Ask us then where the various classes meet.  We have several adult classes and youth age groups that meet each Sunday.

10:30 AM Worship

  • We gather in the sanctuary for worship.
  • Visitors may sign the guest book in the Narthex or the attendance register during the service and are warmly greeted with a "Gift Bag" full of goodies!
  • We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays each month.

Community Service

The Board of Social Ministry, Board of Evangelism, Faith Lutheran School Board, and the Faith Lutheran School Parent/Teacher Organization, known as "Friends of Faith", organize several avenues for community service:

Congregational Service

Sundays

  • A member of the Board of Elders opens the buildings and prepares the facilities for worship and Bible classes.
  • The Altar Guild changes the paraments and prepares the Holy Communion meal.
  • The Fellowship Board prepares the coffee and cookies for the social time prior to Bible classes.
  • Youth Sunday School teachers teach the curriculum items purchased by the Board of Christian Education.
  • The Greeters meet people in the Narthex and provide information and a welcome package to those new to our fellowship.
  • The Ushers assist the congregants with seating, bulletins, attendance registers, offering, and Holy Communion.
  • The church choir meets Wednesday nights and sings 1 - 2 pieces each Sunday September through May.
  • Musicians (piano and organ) are needed and special instrumentation (brass, etc) is sought during the Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter services.

Other Areas

  • Board Service is always welcome.  We have many boards that allow you to serve in line with your strengths: Board of Finance, Board of Stewardship, Board of Public Worship, Youth Board, Board of Evangelism, Board of Social Ministry, Board of Elders, Board of Fellowship, Board of Trustees and Faith Lutheran School Board.
  • Board presidents serve two year terms and can be re-elected once.  Therefore, one may get involved without making a lifetime commitment to only one role of service in the church.
  • The Church Council is comprised of the Congregational President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, the Pastor, and the chairs of all the boards.
